The site has been designed so that venues are found quickly and the filters are easy to use. There are different ways to search for a venue. You can search in the main box which filters on venues across the counties and includes nationwide locations. If you would like a more detailed search with different options then you can use the search facility in tool bar on the top left of the home page, or bottom left. Your preferences can be taken into consideration and modified to your specific requests. Filter by wedding offers, wedding fayres, location, weddings with late dates available, or exclusive use. Many venues now include wedding video showing real life weddings. This is a great benefit as you can see the venue dressed for a wedding and how to create different styles and atmospheres.
Many couples do not know the style of venue they are looking for but may know a location or county that they would like to focus on initially. We have created a handy venue finder service and brochure request for you located on the right hand side of the home page, it is also at the top of the site on the tool bar. This is a good starting point as we can ask the venues in your chosen locations to contact you and send you their wedding offers and media packs either via email or post for you to review, this is a free service.
You can use our free downloadable planning tools. They are handy and include a time line planner, budget planner in excel spread sheet, and a seating planner to help you in deciding who should sit where on the big day. Planning Tools are found at the top right as well as at the bottom of the home page.
When you complete a brochure request now for venues you wish to view there are some great preference options and you can now choose from like weekdays or weekends or mornings, afternoons or evenings. This gives you flexibility of when you want to view, and the venue will be able to confirm that and be expecting you.
Prior to your visit prepare some things you wish to ask and clarify, you can make a list. You may wish to know what is included in your package like entertainment, venue dressing or a honeymoon suite. It is advisable to get any additions to your basic package in writing. Many venues offer exclusive use now but a lot do more than one wedding per day. If this is important to you make sure you know the times of both weddings, and which areas of the venue are reserved for your wedding party and which are not. Also if you are having a civil ceremony make sure your registrar is aware of any times of preference you have, or any constraints on times because of the other bridal party.
The wedding breakfast and catering is a key part of your day. If you have any special dietry requirements make sure the catering staff are aware from the beginning of your menu creation so that they can accommodate all of your guests happily. Often guests are vegetarian or vegan and some guests may need specially designed meals if they have intolerances to certain food groups.
Once you have sat down to your wedding breakfast just remember to relax and enjoy it all, have fun on this happy day and make great memories to cherish, this is now the start of your journey together.
